My writing
I am fascinated with families: their faults and failures, their triumphs and tribulations. Each baby a nugget of gold that will be eroded into his or her own unique shape, in response to—or in defiance of—the microclimates that exist within each family. How is it that people, having shared similar experiences, can tell such widely diverging stories?

My fiction explores family dynamics and that blurry line between memory and reality in witty, character-driven stories with relatable plotlines and universal themes.
